About Creative

Creative Photographers’ Forum is a community of devoted Photographers with commitment towards the society, formed in the year 2001. Based in Kannur, its activities have spread in and out Kerala. . The mission The mission of Creative is to generate interest, appreciation and promote photography and also to showcasing the talents of its members. Creative also provides platform for discussing the emerging technologies and media and their impact and application in the field along with taking up socially relevant issues. The forum over the years is actively involved in conducting various photographic activities like exhibitions, seminars, workshops, photography tours and awareness classes. Activities The Creative Photographers’ Forum had been holding annual exhibitions since 2001. Over the past 18 years, the exhibitions featured many genres of photography such as pictorials, portraits, landscapes, still-life and culture. In later years exhibitions became outspoken on issues such as environment, water scarcity, traffic life, deforestation and pollution. The Forum also conducted Seminars in Educational and Cultural Institutions, to create awareness about the possibilities of the medium of Photography. Activities were also carried out to create awareness on various issues related to photography.
